CHICAGO — About 200 protesters marched through downtown Chicago Monday evening to demand lawmakers declare a climate emergency.

CHICAGO – Hundreds of protesters flocked to the Loop Monday night over the future of the planet.

Demonstrators chanted “oceans are rising, so are we” and “leave the oil in the soil.”

Several hundred climate change activists gathered Monday evening in Daley Plaza to demand government action and draw attention to environmental concerns.
